Monday night, I'm off to Liverpool to present my paper on esolangs at Rewire 2011. I'll be on the Computing Panel, 9:30 am Wed. Esolangs are esoteric programming languages: languages used as a form of experimentation and an art medium. It's a form created by programmers that has been mostly for programmers -- yet has connections to Fluxus and Conceptual works, which I'll be fleshing out in my talk. This is the paper I've been working on for the last year, based in part on my ongoing interviews with esolangers (the first few of which are posted, you can find links here).
